For years, I owned and operated a Masonry contracting company. At one time when the economy and the construction industry was in a better mood, I had 50+ employees. Making money was not easy, and in this economy, it is almost impossible. I was always looking for ways to cut cost.
My question to the erosion control communities is:
1. What are the some of the hidden costs of doing business that bite into profits?
2. What part does maintaining and carting around equipment play into your bottom line?
3. Is there money in repairs?
